Installation
The adjustable vertical outlet design helps simplify installation while accommodating final floor level adjustments.
- Position the drain and connect it to the drainage pipework system.
- Ensure sufficient floor gradients direct water towards the drain.
- Adjust the drain assembly as required to suit the finished floor level.
- Backfill around the drain and complete the floor finish up to the drain edge.
- Remove all protective tape and film before final sealing.
- Apply a 5–8mm bead of suitable mastic sealant where a watertight seal is required between the floor finish and drain.
For optimum drainage performance:
- Keep waste pipe runs as short as possible.
- Minimise bends wherever practical.
- Maintain sufficient pipe gradients.
- Consider overall drainage capacity when connecting multiple fixtures to the same drainage system.
Maintenance
All Herbish® stainless steel drainage products feature a satin finish. While highly durable, this finish can become scratched or marked if improper cleaning methods are used.
Although surface marks may affect appearance, they will not compromise the corrosion resistance or drainage performance of the product. Regular maintenance helps preserve both appearance and hygiene standards.
